Terms of service
The short version of what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. A signed agreement, where one exists, takes precedence.
The service
CLC Technologies (Pty) Ltd ("we") provides the CloudForge platform: website hosting, a page builder, static file hosting, forwarding to your own applications, extensions and the related tools described on this site. The service is provided as described on the day you use it.
Your account and your site
You are responsible for what your site publishes, for the people you give access to, and for keeping your sign-in secure. Content that is unlawful in South Africa, that infringes others' rights, or that attacks the platform or other tenants may be removed and the account suspended.
Your content stays yours
Pages, files, media and data you put on the platform remain yours. You may export them at any time, and the daily backup to your own repository is yours to keep.
Fees
Hosting is quoted per site; extensions are charged per month while they are switched on, at the prices shown in the platform. Unpaid accounts may be suspended after notice.
Availability and changes
We release changes to the platform regularly, tested on a development copy first and kept reversible. We do our best to keep every site reachable and tell you when something is wrong, but we do not promise uninterrupted service.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any loss arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected site in the preceding three months.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
